Seven days before school starts and I still dont have a financial aid award letter, a place to stay for the semester, books, or any idea how long its gonna take for my scholarship coordinators to award me the funds they say I am eligible for. And yet, Im currently on this midnight train to Georgia with nothing in my posession but twenty dollars, three bags, and a dangerous amount of faith. I NEED everyone reading this to understand Gods will is literally more powerful than anything I have ever experienced. Three years ago I was in this exact situation. Three years ago They told me that I wouldnt make it because I didnt have enough money, family support, resources etc... They said stuff like, be realistic. Just go somewhere else. Try something else. But God said, The steps of a good man are ordered by the lord AND he delighteth in his way. Three years later and I am about to begin my fourth year at Morehouse College. God has brought me too far for me to give up now. Because of all of the challenges Ive conquered in the past, I now feel strong enough to climb, move (or destroy) any mountain that might get in my way. My life is my testimony and I pray that I am able to inspire someone somewhere to have a little more faith in their God and chase a little harder after their dreams. Amen.
