Check out what our customers have to say about our Sunday #Brunch! “Top Buffet in Delaware County” Reviewed October 28, 2014 Tavola is a restaurant, adjacent to the Springfield Country Club, just north of St Kevins Church in Springfield, PA. It is open to the public and online reservations are accepted. They are very diligent about confirming reservations, so if they are made online, rest assured, you will receive a phone call about 24 hours, prior, to confirm. The atmosphere in the restaurant is home-style and wood themed with many paintings adorning the walls. Its a little dark inside, so if you are looking for privacy from the tables near you, than youre in luck. I have eaten here twice, the latest was this past weekend, Sunday Oct. 26, and Mothers Day 2014. Each time, I and my wife, have ordered the brunch buffet. You are offered a complimentary Mimosa with your brunch. The buffet, itself, is enormous in variety. Starting on one end was a full selection of breads and pastries. A toasting device for bagels and toast was available and working. The large chafing dishes were well stocked with the normal breakfast options, i.e. potatoes obrien, scrambled eggs, sausages (really good) with the addition of strawberry blintzes and eggs benedict. There were crab cakes, tilapia, salmon and shrimp prawns for the seafood lover. All the items I sampled were delicious and cooked properly. The last sections consisted of a prime rib carving station, salad/antipasto section and finally, desserts. The desserts consisted of cheesecake slices variety, carrot cake, chocolate cake and cannoli minis. Our server was friendly and stopped by the table in about 5 minute increments to take plates away and refill drink orders. The price for non-event brunch buffet was about $25 a person which might seem expensive, but if you factor in the ambiance, service and selection, not to mention the quality of the food, it is a bargain considering lower cost options. The Mothers Day Buffet was closer to $40 a person, but it included seating in the Country Clubs Grand Ballroom and the white linen table cloth approach. I would recommend Tavola in general, and the brunch buffet in specific, if you and a loved one(s) are looking for a way to pamper yourselves in style and decadence.
