As a young boy standing next to a guy that’s over 6 ft tall, rides a Harley, has an awesome gun collection and rebuilds Model T’s, my brother was a giant of a man and someone I greatly admired and loved. He could spin a tale like no one else. He was a man’s man who taught me how to shoot, ride Harleys and love the outdoors. He gave me my first niece when I was just five years old—she was more like a little sister. Her name is Jolene. My brother taught me how to stand up for myself and not back down from a fight worth fighting. He passed away a few days ago and I miss him terribly. He has joined my father, my oldest brother, his youngest daughter, and his wife in a much better place. My brother, Steve, in many ways was larger than life. Today, I am attending the funeral for my brother in Washington State. Please pray for his daughters, Jolene and Lori. These are tough times but our faith gets us through. I love you, Steve.
