As admin. for this page along with Boomers page, and founder of Advocates for Companion Animals, I have been asked by many to set up a fund for the family who was victimized by the neighbor who stated to the Deputy that he did in fact kill the puppy, Boomer. This shooter lives next door to the family who is traumatized by the repeated attempts by this man to shoot their dogs. Now that charges have been filed, the family is understandable fearful for their remaining dogs. They have a fence that is see through, and their dogs are easy targets through it and over it. This family loves their dogs so much, that they are considering re-homing them to keep them safe. It is my opinion, and I know the opinion of other people I have spoken with, that that would further victimize this family. They should not have to give up their family members because of a neighbor who apparently wants to do harm to dogs, for whatever reason. Sadly, this family does not have the money for a tall privacy fence. This fundraiser is an attempt to help them install a fence, and for other security measures to be implemented.
