As all of my close friends (and many FB friends) know, I suffer with SEVERE Hemiplegic Migraines... Over the years, in addition to living in nearly constant excruiating pain, Ive endured hundreds or possibly even thousands of Absence Seizures, numerous Strokes, memory loss, have become very Dyslexic, have developed randon Stuttering when having speech issues, have at times completely lost the ability to speak, random temporary paralysis of hands & arms, photo-phobia, phono-phobia, and just over a month ago the migraines migrated to my heart and it stopped (I wrote about this at the time) and I was dead! A couple of weeks ago, it moved to my right kidney, and it hit there again last night. They have hit pretty much EVERY part of my body at this point. Last night however, may well have been the most bizarre series of migraines Ive encountered, because it was in my left temporal area of brain, left eye, right testical, right kidney AND then it hit my heart again. The pain was so brutally overwhelming, that I honestly do believe that my body went into shock as a form of protection. Ive experienced shock a couple of times previously, and this was no different. [If youve ever experienced it, youll understand and know that it is in fact a gift!] Last night, as I lay in bed praying with all my might that Ill go to sleep quickly to avert any more pain, I was equally praying that this time I wont wake up in the morning... :-( Obviously I did wake up again, and am now reeling in the after effects where life is more like a sureal motion picture playing on a 360* screen all around you, and youre just helplessly viewing and feeling it, but disconnected from any real element of understanding or participation. Im still in pain in all locations that were hit last night, but its just manageable enough to be able go out and do stuff today, in order to try to clear my head of this hell. -Tim
