As all the rest of you, I will never forget this very day just 12 short years ago. I was sleeping peacefully; not a worry in the world. While I was in lala land, little did I know that many of our American brothers and sisters were jumping out of windows plummeting to their death to keep from burning alive. Even when my sister in law at the time, Melissa Dunn, ran into my room frantically screaming, "The T.V.! The T.V.! The T.V.!", And I hazily made it to the TV just in time to see the first tower fall, America still was not seeing everything that was going on and about to happen. Shortly thereafter I headed to my parents house, where my other brothers and sisters showed up as well. We stayed glued to the news channels all day long, as we wept and prayed and worried about what may happen next. I never felt so close to my family as I did that day. So close to every other American. Never had I felt so unsure and insecure. Never had I felt so much disgust and anger..........May we never forget!!!!!!!!
