As always, Tanuki, the Japanese/Korean Studies Student Council of Leiden University, hosts a trip to Japan (the Kansai region) in the summer vacation of 2015, but Im likely going to plan something myself. Its not that I dislike Tanuki or anything since I was even part of the trip crew in 2013, but to go to Kansai once again for sightseeing spots and cultural experiences Im already accustomed to is starting to become redundant (ie. Bunraku, Sumiyoshi Taisha, ochakai etc.). I will gladly give others the chance to join that trip. For me, Ill probably have a hard time with academics now, so being able to actually go on another trip to Japan is questionable. Of course, my next destination would be the Kanto region, as Ive never been to Tokyo before, despite having gone to the land of the rising sun for over a year now. Comic Market is definitely a thing. But Im looking forward if the University of Tokyo is going to host another Media Mix program. This time I have to go for it!
