As an artist, it is hard to find time to do personal projects. We have to hunt for those paying jobs. When I have had the time to do personal work, Ive lucky. My broken Angels, Headdress, and Medusa series has allowed me to use a range of models. Form all different ages and body types. Each has had their own classic beauty. Several are mothers and some are over 50. Ive been very fortunate to have these women model for me. I wish I had more time, there are so many reference photos I want to use. One model has worked with me over 10 years and seeing her change into the glowing woman she is now has been fantastic. the drawings I picked are of a mother of 3 and she is a classic beauty in herself. In the colour drawing all her tattoos are based 5....her, the father and the 3 kids. I have started another, but time keeps slipping away. It is in folder with about 15 other drawings some 3/4 finished. All I can say is I hope they will all be finished.
