As an enterprise developer the last 15 years I havent been doing any games, the closest being various meters and dynamic display features using ajax. In college I did and still read fundamental papers in computer graphics and algorithms for performing various types of image synthesis problems but that is a layer under actual game development. Ive always wanted to take some time to dig into game development but have gotten into my own universe of code building action oriented workflow and the AgilEntity framework where the synergy of machine learning approaches to solve various problems has found much reason for deeper reading ...a different set of problems from those faced in development for the most part. Occasionally I read or watch a video on what the game dev. world is about...to keep my knowledge some what relevant in the place. Nice talk on the difference game development and other types of development from one of the top game developers (c++) , thanks for the heads up Shanee.
