As another typhoon hits the Philippines, this one is closer to home. My in-laws are in the direct path and have already evacuated inland away from the coastal area in which they live. In trying to get info on the storm I came across a story from last years typhoon that wiped out the city of Tacloban. The four young men in the video (17- 22 yrs old) that made their living as a Beetles cover band playing in Tocloban at weddings and such had lost everything. They went to Manila to find work and help raise money for the survivors. Since then they have played in the U.S., Japan, and in the U.K. at the Cavern Club where Beetles got their start, all to raise funds. Hopping and praying this typhoon will weaken or change course.
