As everyone settles back into their own homes this evening, I find - TopicsExpress

As everyone settles back into their own homes this evening, I find a moment of peace to reflect upon all the things for which to be thankful. Im about to get sappy but bear with me. :) Firstly my family. As many of you know, we almost lost my father last month. After spending 4 weeks in the hospital, he is back at home and back to normal. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. We still have some obstacles to overcome but we are thankful that he is healthy and here with us this holiday. Those of you who know me well, know that I am close with my family and when I lived in Texas for 4 years, I didnt get to spend many holidays with them because 8 out of 10 of us live in Florida and one in Ohio. (Yes, there are only 10 people in my immediate family.) So when I have a holiday with them, I cherish the time we have together. Please remember to hug everyone you care about. (and even hug someone you dont like. lol ) I am thankful to be doing something that I love. I have poured my heart, soul and money into my business and I have been able to travel and work with amazing people to produce the beautiful images they need. As with any entrepreneurial venture, I have experienced my ups and downs. Successes and failures. Opportunities and dead-ends. I am thankful for each of the struggles and each and every problem I have ever faced because those problems made me stronger and sharper than I ever would have been otherwise. Nobody said this would be easy, but nothing will ever stop me from trying either. I am thankful for all the people who have supported my efforts and my ideas. Everyone who attends and sponsors my events. Everyone who books photo shoots with me. All of you. You are amazing people and by hiring me to take your photographs, you are helping me to support myself and my family. I cant thank you enough. I am thankful for my close friends. You know who you are. I love you and believe in you. You will always have my support and if you are ever in need, you know who to call. I am thankful for my health and the health of my family members and friends. I know several of you are facing health problems and I hope and pray for your strength and that you all recover 100%. Remember that you have a lot of people who believe in you and are ready to celebrate with you when you get through it. I am thankful for the past and excited for the opportunities that await our future. I am building some huge things for myself and my brand in 2015. I plan to host at least 2 more red carpet events. Ill travel as much as possible doing photographic work and with a little luck, book more major clients. I just signed to do photos for a publishing company that produces 5 magazines. Ive been giving some serious consideration to adding talent business consultation to my list of offerings. I want a youtube channel where I can talk instead of type long winded facebook posts such as this one. (Seriously though is anyone still reading this?) I have a script for an animated film that I am helping to shop to production studios. Im going to work to book photo shoots in Miami, NY, LA and San Antonio and travel to each city. ( If you or anyone you know would like more information on any of this, just let me know.) I am working to do so many things, but without the love and support of my family and friends like you, any success would be a hollow victory. My priorities are in order. Thank you all. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and wish you a great holiday season. I hope this message wasnt too sappy for you. Just wait, I turn 30 next month and Christmas is around the corner... Ill get even worse when those days roll around. LOL
