As expected, the recent Pulse Asia survey on the top national concerns dealt with economic issues – inflation (50%) and workers’pay (49%) in the first cluster. The next cluster of concerns were fighting corruption in government (41%); creating more jobs (38); and reducing poverty (35%). Other urgent concerns were criminality (25%); enforcing the rule of law (15%); promoting peace (12%); and protecting the environment (12%).
