As follow up to our earlier post on maintenance items, and in response to the input regarding the use of TA/Petro and Speedco for services, we have not stopped using these service providers. We utilize them for standard over the road services as needed. We are performing more PMs, DOT inspections and other routine maintenance at our own facilities. As most of you are aware, last summer and fall we accelerated the purchase of new trucks while at the same time working through many OEM campaigns. These two items placed a great amount of additional workload on our shops. We have worked through that high point of work and now at many of our facilities are back to a more normal workload. Some of our facilities remain strained, but shops such a Marietta, Lincoln, Lafayette and Lenoir City can get your truck in for service with minimal wait. The Maintenance team is communicating to your Asset and Fleet Managers at the beginning of each day the expected workload at each facility and the expected wait times. We are working on ways to effectively communicate this information to you so that we minimize your down time. Thank you for your feedback and professionalism.
