As followers of Christ, we must look at His examples and follow - TopicsExpress

As followers of Christ, we must look at His examples and follow His experience in Life. We all have our own subjective circumstances both good, bad and seemingly otherwise. The flesh will seek to indulge in the apparent good, favorable and enjoyable while seeking to escape all which is not. Instead, we must learn to submit our wills for they favor the flesh and its desires and know not of that good and perfect will of the Father which many times comes in the way or sufferings but dont believe me, believe the scriptures... Luke 22:42saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.” 43Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him. 44And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground. John 12:27Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, Father, save Me from this hour ? But for this purpose I came to this hour. John 12: 24“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25“He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. 26“If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. The soul cannot always know what the Spirit knows so that it must subject itself by faith and in deference in all circumstances to seek His will, that which is good and perfect and yes, even in the sufferings which shall have their perfect result! But if we grumble and complain and whine like a baby in the midst of any and all sufferings, how shall we ever be perfected and will we not be guilty of hanging onto our lives and loving it rather than hating it in this world so as to keep it to eternal life?
