As for the Noah movie, well as they say, the book is always - TopicsExpress

As for the Noah movie, well as they say, the book is always better. In this case, I have to say the movie was vastly different than the Book, meaning it was a desecration. I went home disgusted; the movie portrays Noah - who God says in the Book was a righteous man- as a homicidal vegan madman who gets high with Methuselah to see visions. Worst is that the movie makes this Noah reveal that God wanted to kill ALL humanity and leave only the creatures. The Book was clear that God wanted to save humanity as well by allowing a new start for Noah and his line. The director is not a Christian and by his own admission only Jewish by culture, not faith. So to him Noah is just another legend to be embellished at will. I knew this going into the movie, and so my expectations were for a Hollywood movie, not the Bible. But for me the story of Noah is sacred, and his movie is a desecration. Aronofsky goes far beyond artistic license into a ridiculous hurtful blasphemy. Here is a full-spoiler review. I hope you will read it and save your money. I dont want Hollywood to get the message that they can keep on desecrating Gods Word and make a killing doing it. ... ...redstate/2014/03/27/darren-aronofskys-noah/
