As funding debates in the U.S. Congress begin for FY2015, contact your Member of Congress and ask them to support full and robust funding for UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund. Without a strong U.S. financial commitment, fewer women will have access to voluntary family planning services, fewer survivors of obstetric fistula will receive the treatment they need, and fewer girls will be protected from harmful traditional practices such as Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) and child marriage.
