As i woke up today,i said to GOD;i thank you for another day. But then i taught about this;How many people in the grave would give anything to say these same words? When we take a little time out to think about what is happening around us today,the sudden deaths occasioned by bomb blasts,road accidents, plane crash and sudden natural disasters not to mention the dreaded brief illness syndrome. As i write this,someone somewhere is dying and every minute of today, someone will die and even when we all know we pray for a long life,we must not deny the fact that it takes the grace of GOD for you and i to see every next minute of our lives. I think the best thing is just to live every minute of our lives as though that is the last because no one can really say when death will come knocking. We have seen where people are busy eating their dinner and plane suddenly crashed into their house wiping everyone off the surface of the earth,i have watched a situation where people were partying and sudden earthquake wiped them off in minutes,we all have heard of where innocent people were waiting to board vehicles to their various destinations just to suddenly find themselves out of this world and just few days back,people who were shopping innocently discovered too late that they wont get to use what they were buying. In as much as we all avoid this topic and some will say why am i starting the day with this topic?, but try to forget about it,do all you can to avoid discussing it but the bottom line is this; Death must come in one way or the other and it is a consequence we all must face and a price we must pay for coming to this world. Maybe if you witness the rapture alive,you just might not experience physical death.. Nevertheless, my advice to every one is that we must all be at peace with GOD in all we do and in the way we live our lives so that whenever death comes, we will be glad to meet our maker and enjoy a greater life and the only way we can be guaranteed a greater life after leaving this world is to accept Jesus as our savior. NO OTHER WAY.
