Yes and been on radio under other names... years ago - many chosen by program directors. As for Allee?Never got SS card changed. Boo-hoo. Answer to first intrusive question. I have a DBA (Business Certificate) from Onondaga County for Lillee Allee dated the 17th of July 2006. I follow the laws of the land. Why does the Salem Licensing Board not use our DBAs if we are independent contractors? Dont know. NY and Mass have different laws, Do I pay taxes? Yes. Is Mass different than NY in laws when it comes to legal names and legal aliases? Yes. Maybe it is because I live in a state not a commonwealth - I have no idea. Google a lawyer or something. Answer to second intrusive question: Yes Johns real name was Allee not Ali. He never changed his name though he used Lord Egan for about a decade or so. Now I know what you are trying to find out - I handle his estate and no do not even try to take his stuff of MY (now) website. I dont care if I dont agree with it. I believe in the constitution - do you? Answer to third intrusive question: No, it is not your business if I have children or what their names are, or if our names match. If anyone has a real question, I can be very helpful about things I do know. Things I do not know, I cant help with. Many people use different names. A name like Elizabeth has a plethora of nicknames. Johns mothers name was Elizabeth and he had a niece Lisa - see the problem there? I hope that this satisfies the inquiring people who want to know information about myself and those some think I know. I am tired of being IMed by trolls with names like Golden Unicorn while others are told that they cannot use their DBAs on social networks. I do not believe that performers (such as drag queens or models) or authors who have nom de plumes need to use their real name. How will anyone ever find their work? What is the use of branding or building a career? Yes, Geraldo Rivera used to use Jerry King on radio decades ago. Many of us used radio names Women have traditionally been asked to legally change their names in marriage. Do not all legal unions have the right to do that? Ever seen a dating site? You might be interested in HotforYou or NotsorattyinCincinnati. Why are not real names used on those sites? Can we talk about Craigs List? If you choose to keep your family name but are referred to as Mrs. Smith - do we have a right? Lets stop looking for bogeymen in every corner and check out facebook accounts that do not show pics or use names that are even close to sounding real. AOL always let you use screen names but their records showed your real name and they did shut down disruptive accounts. Just sayin some of my relatives names are Wulff. I have seen more Wolfs in the pagan populations than Smith, Jones or Johnson. So what is fair for one is fair for all? Or is it?
