As if enough wasnt happening today in my life, while I was actually in the MRI machine at Houston Orthopedic & Spine Hospital, the porter at our building rescued a tiny kitten (maybe 8 weeks old) from the parking garage and brought it to our office! Why our office??? The ladies took it in, fed it a hot dog( ! ), and left a message both on my phone and at the MRI office for me to call the office as soon as I could. The message: How was I going to tell Dr. Tom Parr we had another cat? Said kitten is now upstairs in a small bathroom, where the other two cats cannot get to him. And he is going to be up there until the diarrhea passes (from that hotdog), until I know it can use a sandbox correctly (which hasnt happened yet), and until Dr. Brady at Stafford Oaks Veterinary Hospital says it is healthy enough to be with the other cats. Dr. Brady is so great! He knows I somehow acquire fural cats (NO, I do not go looking for them!), and said he offered to meet me in the morning, even though it is supposed to be his day off!
