As it so often happens we got derailed today again with rescue efforts. We have another grizzly cub in Golden in dire need of help. Conservation Officer Alex Desjardins has taken in this seriously emaciated cub and caring for him until we can get there. Our efforts are hampered by the fact that our old truck is no longer fit to be used on long distances. Organizing a borrowed truck and canopy rental all take preciouses time and finances. But now we are set to leave tomorrow morning and tackle the 1252km drive. Estimated travel time 16-18 hours depending on road conditions, one way.
