As many of you know, I was a Pre School Teacher and Director for 15 years. I worked in California, Tokyo and Boston. The annual NAEYC Convention always turns all the restrooms in the venue to women only except the ones that are at least three miles from all the activity.There is much talk about having men in the profession, but there is also an underlying current of uneasiness on the part of the female staff. I received my degree in Early Education and Care, but after the auto accident I did not feel safe to go back into the school/classroom. So, now I am doing Real Estate and loving it. I do miss those daily doses of affection and hugs, and knowing that I am making a difference on a daily basis.
