As many of you know, Marilyn Gaizband and I went on a cruise to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Antarctica in November. Here is a link (photosafaris/main/south-georgia-ebook/) to an E-Book with photos submitted by our fellow travelers from the South Georgia portion of the trip. Marilyn and I each have one photo in the E-Book. The E-Book was compiled to raise awareness about the South Georgia Heritage Trust. Rats came to South Georgia aboard whaling and seal hunting ships in the 19th century. They are an invasive species that kills millions of eggs and chicks from Penguins and other birds.
