As may have been noticed some posts and members have disappeared over the last few days on Currently, in Port Dover. The administrators of this page have decided to take a heavier hand at moderating the posts here in an attempt to keep things as civil as possible. Lately, things seem to be going off course and certainly havent reflected who we as Port Doverites are. For example , yesterday I removed a post about the Middle East and I suppose some explanation might be in order. When I read the post a few things were clear to me about it. 1. This has nothing to do with our happy lives here in Port Dover. 2. There is a 100% chance that in this group, a post about world events would only end up in another non-constructive and divisive argument that would solve nothing and accomplish even less. 3. Virtually EVERY OTHER PAGE ON FACEBOOK seems to be discussing this. Go there to discuss it. and 4. Again, it is not what is Currently, in Port Dover. Before posting anything here, imagine all 800+ members sitting in front of you, then choose your words wisely. I think we would all agree that Port Dover is a town filled with great people, lets discuss what is relevant in our daily lives, and what we can do to make this the best place in the world to live! -Tim
