As men and women of God we must preach all of the truth. Its not about always hearing what you want to hear, its about reality. There is joy in serving God, but there is also adversity. Being a child of God is a decision to seek Jesus through it all. We must seek holiness, because without it we will not see God. Jesus is our holiness, but we must seek Him, abide in Him to receive it. It is adversity that proves our love, and commitment to God. We do not need motivational speakers, we need preachers of the Gospel, all of it! Remember that preaching only part of the gospel is the same as preaching a lie, the Devil preaches out of context all the time, to confuse and to divide the church. Your emotions will lead you right into the pit of Hell. Guard your emotions and cling to the truth, for the truth will set you free.
