As most of you know my family had a terrible tragedy Friday. Our house and everything in it was destroyed. The insurance company came through to inspect this morning and deemed nothing but 1 closet of clothes is worth trying to save. We lost two of our precious pets. Although Koda and Toby cannot be brought back and that is literally breaking our hearts. It could be so much worse. Our stuff will eventually be replaced by insurance. Our home, within the next year, can be re-built. My family is safe. Were in a comfortable place. I dont know where well spend the holidays and I dont know where well live for the next year but we have each other. And thats the only thing that matters. I want to say thank you to my friends that have had my back during this horrible time. Whether youve sent much needed diabetes supplies for my son. Or simply sent messages over the past few days checking on me. If not for your kind words and gestures I dont know if I would have made it thru this. I truly have the best and most amazing friends. I love each and every one of you more than you could possibly imagine. I would try to tag each of you to this post but it wouldnt be possible.
