As much as I love good causes, I almost feel like the ice bucket challenge is a bit harsh towards the actual patients with the ALS disease. If I am not mistaken, ALS patients and their bodies freeze and literally die one of the coldest deaths once they pass... So seeing half of the entire population pouring ice cold water all over themselves and laughing about it from the ALS perspective might deliver the wrong message. I know it is FOR AWARENESS, but it could easily be misinterpreted by someone with the disease as well as a joking matter, which could end on a very bad note. The awareness should/could of been spread in another way.
