As much as i love the countries of my forefathers i have to believe that a differant course of action is needed here. Ukraine has been a loyal ally to many since autonomy and it is time for them to show their support. Poland, a common cousin has always and is still in support. The European Union has sought and even drove toward support of and dealing with Ukraine in a positive coexistant manner. With the addition of what Ukraine kept upon independence, and their amount of resources that russia was loathe to surrender it was a matter of time before this happend. Its time for europe to stop the russian aggression that has been existent for centuries. For now Europe needs to support their friend or let a strong ally die, then watch as history repeats itself and too many innocents die. As far as the US, we need to extract ourselves from other murderous meddling before we consider sending our troops for a european confict that should be able to be dealt w/a european response that has US$already invested in our allies there. Time to show they appreciate and canplay with the toys they gratefully accepted. And yes, if i was younger i would like to go help on the ground, but as myself, not as a part of an excursion that would take more US $&lives that dont necessarily want to give up the ulimate sacrifice at the expense of their loved ones here.
