As much as possible, I encourage honest and mutually respectful - TopicsExpress

As much as possible, I encourage honest and mutually respectful discussion on my page but like most of you, I have my limits. I have had to block several people since yesterday for expressing opinions on my page that that I found to be repugnant and reprehensible. You cannot come on my page and condemn me for categorizing terrorist groups such as ISIS, Hamas, Al Qaeda as evil and claim that Hamas are Freedom Fighters, go on about Hebrew fairy tales as to Israels claim to their land and stay here--period. Again for the record, I full believe that both Israel and the Arabs have legitimate historical claims to the country known as Israel that date back thousands of years and I support peaceful co-existence of both groups. When I asked this individual as it regards Hamas exactly what part of freedom applies when Hamas brutalizes and murders its own people, summarily executes gays and uses children as slaves to build terror tunnels and uses women and children as human shields he really had no answer. As for the second individual, you cannot arrive here and expect that I shall blindly allow you to post remarks about Martin Luther King after I posted a pic of MLK on my timeline that are totally disparaging and disrespectful and stay here either. Here is what he posted: This guy was a false prophet. For one thing he could not keep it in his pants. Totally unfaithful to his wife and a hypocrite to society. I am still trying to understand why America saw him as someone standing tall other than he had an amazing way with words and could deliver messages people bought in to. Funny that was also Obama. Another hypocrite, liar, with elequent words empty of reality. Sad. To which I responded: Kings leadership and courage in the civil rights movement was undeniable. Anyone who cannot remotely see that is is in my view a racist. I rarely use the term openly. People should be evaluated by the totality of their lives and just the objectionable facets of it. The subject of King is especially relevant to me as I write about him in my upcoming book. What book about the 1960s that is largely historical and be remotely inclusive would not include King and the civil rights movement?? I TOTALLY reject the notion that the great accolades countless millions have heaped upon MLK are all a lie. I also reject the notion that my own justifiably reverential sentiments in my book are a lie. Anyone who is even a little familiar with my work knows that I write the truth and not my own version of it. Writing without true honesty lacks all credibility. In the end, you DO NOT come on this page, NOT HERE and shamelessly bash one the greatest men in the history of mankind and be allowed to stay. No one who posts comments on my page that I find to be utterly intolerable gets to stay, now or ever. Thank you....
