As my family in California prepare to say farewell to my Uncle Tom I am remembering him calling his dog, Rosie, to ride in the truck with him, a cigar hanging out the corner of his mouth, smiling and heading off to do handyman work at the Ranch/Vineyard. I will never forget his smile or his sense of humor... he ALWAYS had a joke to tell you . He was a character. He was a husband, a father and grandfather, Brother, Uncle , God Father and a friend to many He lived a full life on his own terms. He was dearly loved.I know he and all our family that has gone before us are having a great reunion tonight. I love you Uncle Tom...." Miss Texas" is missing your sweet smile tonight!
