As my husband attended the funeral of another long time friend of his today, I was once again reminded how fragile and precious life is. Life is not fair, and bad things happen to good people. Some things we dont, and probably never will, understand. I think of how sudden this illness came upon Johns friend, and how fast it stole his life from him. What if this had happened to me, or my husband? I want to live my life as though it is my last day here on earth, because no one is promised tomorrow. What matters in the end is your relationship with God. I know its not pleasant to think about and plan for your time to leave this earth. But I also know that if you plan now, and have that relationship with God that He so desires, that when your time comes...you will close your eyes on earth, and open them in paradise! Just think about it...
