As of todays date we cannot find the deed......Me and the family believe that their are stipulations in the donation deed that say the land is to be kept in the public schools.......The deed has gone missing......What I dont get is how they were able to build homes on the land where the soccer field was without some kind of paper work of ownership...Whoever claims to be the owner of the land has to be able to show proof that they can sell or build.....Over the last 70 yrs or so the donation has generated millions of dollars for the city, etc....It is only right for living descendents to make sure the stipulations are met.... I am sure any other family would do the same !
