As often as possible, I would like to post a thank you to someone or ones who helped us in the days weeks and months following Damiens accident on Oct 4,2012 Thank you Jody Bousquet for the middle of the night texting in those first few days to help me understand traumatic brain injuries and what to look for on the road of recovery. I was so very, very scared and you were there for me. It was all such a frightening blur, I dont even remember if we had an actual conversation. You helped me to help Damien. I did as you suggested: made a playlist of our songs and played them for him, wore my clothes that, in the past, he would always comment on , wore perfume that could make him remember me, shared memories with him to help bring our life back to his mind.... I love you so, Jody!! I cant say thank you enough.
