As one might suspect, after nearly a 14 day respite of rain, we will be moving into a wetter, but warm pattern on the East Coast while the Rockies should see another big snowstorm potential. October looks mild along the eastern seaboard with the above normal temps weighted more toward the first half of the month than the 2nd half. Still lots of uncertainty over the winter, but at this time, analogs tell is that the persistent western trough in September and October suggest said trough positions itself in the east over the winter months.
