As painful as rejection is and can be..it is also a gift. Not everything nor everyone we love or want is going to want us back. Being rejected can stop you or start you. All that happens with rejection is we learn that a particular person or direction we thought was meant for us, simply wasnt and so we need to find a new person, reason or direction to take us to the same goal. Rejection isnt so much rejection as it is a change in direction. We have the opportunity when we get a NO to be highly creative in saying Next. The no you got was your gift sending you to your next direction, which will be healthier and better for you in reaching the goals you have set for yourself. Rejection hurts, makes us question ourselves, those around us and our dreams but if you really want something in your life, then you will trust that each rejection gives you a more refined and defined direction in life. Through rejection we learn fortitude, resilience, reality, the ability to accept life on lifes terms and the motivation, passion and creativity not to take every no as stop sign in our life. If you want something go get it. If you get a no, then do whatever is next to get you to where you want to go. We should all get more rejections in life than accomplishments but it is those rejections which build our character, keep us creative and ultimately get us to our dreams.
