As part of our initiative to serve the world, one community and one child at a time, your Merrick Kiwanis Club has chosen to present a very important program next Tuesday, March 18th - In keeping with our Kiwanis Governors Project and in the endeavor to educate our members and our community, we have chosen to welcome Michael Giangregorio to our meeting to discuss a very important subject near and dear to his heart-Autism. Through his tireless work with The Elija Foundation and school and the Eden ll program he has pledged his time to educate the population and foster a better understanding of autism so that those affected will be a welcomed member of their community. I dont want to give too much away in this email but trust me his insights and information will be riveting- and his personal connection to this life long disorder is unmatched-His son Nicholas has autism and attends the Genesis School. So lets all meet on Tuesday and listen to a most important program-the information is priceless-our young people are the future leaders of tomorrow and we need to know! Special give-aways, great food, a fabulous program and the support of our Kiwanis Governors Program: whats better than that!
