As per info: Update: On Saturday, 1 February 2014 at 01:30 four police members from KwaDukuza SAPS were returning from KwaMaphumulo when saw a red vehicle parked on the side of the road. They stopped on the R74 on the outskirts of KwaDukuza and decided to investigate. Whilst still at the scene seated in their vehicle three unknown men emerged from the bush and immediately opened fire on the vehicle. The constable and student constable seated in the front of the vehicle were immediately killed as the men opened fire on them shooting them in the head. One of the suspects got into the vehicle and managed to wrestle a third member for his firearm. The fourth member at the back of the vehicle pulled his firearm and opened fire on the suspects who fled into the bushes. Police management is in the process of contacting the deceased police officer’s families to give them tragic news. Meanwhile a team has been assembled and are working around the clock to hunt the men down and bring them to book.,
