As promised... I take a lot of time to interview companies that claim they want to hire former military personnel. I can honestly say that I found a great company based out of Milton, ON that needs YOU! The president of Ontario operations reached out to me. He approached me because they have a problem. They have a very high turnover rate because the (younger) civvies they hire don’t want to work hard, don’t want to work quickly, are “wimpy”, lack interpersonal skills, “job hop”, won’t do shift work, abuse substances, and are not reliable. (Ive paraphrased this obviously but you get the picture) Well, I told them I have the solution… many of you! This is a family owned food services corporation that has super wages, a great corporate culture, 4-day work week, flex benefits, profit sharing, benefits, pension plan, group RRSP, signing bonuses, internal training, a “promote from within” mindset, and has a very positive workplace climate. They are ready to hire 4 to 8 people EACH WEEK starting today. There is the opportunity for a few of these roles in the Kingston, ON area. They need AZ drivers, sales service delivery helpers and order selectors. I see these as opportunities for MSE Ops, Field Engineers and Supply Techs. Anybody with the right skills and attitude can apply though. Don’t have your AZ? No problem. Get on board and within 3 to 6 months they will put you on course. (a $5.000 value) Serving as a conduit between former military and the corporate world is a passion of mine. To be clear, I do not get paid for this. I get paid by clients for my career transition services and books sales. Hey, if you don’t have a resume ready to go, 20 bucks for the “how to” e-book goes a long way…just saying;) Job links >>> gfscanada/en/ontario-transportation gfscanada/en/careers/warehouse gfscanada/en/careers/current-opportunities/sales-service-delivery-helper-milton-dc The email address to send your applications is GFSOntarioGreatJobs@gfscanada Mention that you learned of the opportunity through me, Audrey Prenzel (not Dirk lol) after I had discussions with their HR Manager, Kim Majetic. I will be running around between Quinte West and Toronto off and on all weekend. If you need me, text me. 613-391-7029. I usually don’t read the FaceBook PMs when I am on the road as I don’t want to download that new app. If this opportunity is not for you, pls share with others.
