HEATHER SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR ASSAULT IN THE SECOND DEGREE AND DOMESTIC ASSAULT IN THE SECOND DEGREE Maryville, Mo. – Andrew Lee Heather, Maryville, was sentenced to four (4) years in prison with the Missouri Department of Corrections by the Honorable Judge Roger Prokes for the felonies of domestic assault in the second degree and assault in the second degree in Cause # 13ND-CR00053-01 & 13ND-CR00054-02. Heather was found guilty of attempting to cause physical injury to a loved one by choking her and knowingly causing physical injury to another person by stabbing that person’s head with a pencil. The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department transported the defendant to prison. “I want to thank Deputy Vince Lippincott & Officer Ken Garner for their exemplary work in these cases,” said Robert (Bob) L. Rice, Prosecuting Attorney of Nodaway County. “Because of their hard work and determination, a violent person is going to prison.” ###
