As school starts in Cobb this week APD would like remind motorists to stop for school buses. Our officers will be watching bus stops closely and buses are equipped with cameras to detect dangerous situations when drivers disregard the bus "Stop Sign" while loading or unloading students. Fines and points on your license for this violation are high. But none of the legal penalties can compare with knowing that your impatience or inattentiveness contributed to an injury or the loss of a young life!
