As some of you already know, our trip was cut short… about 3700 miles. yep. we crashed the boat into some uncharted volcanic rocks at 5:30 am. on the 3rd morning! With the dropping tide we were forced to jump ship and hike for 6 miles through mosquito infested marsh before finding a shanty town and arranging a ride. 17 hours later we were back in San Diego, minus our boat. and everything on it. sorry to let everyone down, believe me, were the most disappointed of all. we ran aground on the farthest tip of the peninsula and began our barefoot trek up the east side. video coming soon.
