As some of you know - Ive been given a pretty great opportunity by receiving the honor of nomination for Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year I really was extremely hesitant in accepting - Im totally not THAT military wife who knows the ins-and-outs of military life (although I have tried to get a pretty good grasp on most of it)... but I definitely DO know life and all about what it can hand you. Anyways, I elected to accept the nomination with inspiration from a friend of mine, Jeremy Hilton, who was military spouse of the year a few years ago... and advocates for special needs military families, still. I have NO idea what this honor could possibly mean for me - and am probably in WAY over my head considering I am not a huge fan of the spotlight - but I know where my heart is, wherever this opportunity may lead.
