As some of you know, Wednesday night my father was involved in a car accident where he was hit by a driver that did not stop at a stop sign and had a suspended license. My dads car flipped over and they had to bayflight him to Tampa General Hospital. He was and still is in critical condition. After further tests and x rays, they found that his neck was severely fractured from the accident, yesterday they operated on him for 6 hours to see if they could repair the nerve damage that was done in the accident and salvage what they could. He will not be able to move his neck since they fused the vertebrae together to minimize damage. There is also a 5% chance that he will be able to walk again, and the rest can only tell with time and rehabilitation. At this point we just ask for any and all prayers that we can get as we go through this. As most know he is a very strong willed and hard headed man so we are hopeful that yet again he will be able to conquer the odds.
