The message of the whole video was to bring attention to teens who suffer from mental disorders, self harm, those who are suicidal and how the media and social media portrays and influences these issues in a negative way. I chose to speak out about my own experiences with self harm because it has been something I have struggled with in the past and I know I am not alone.
