“As soon as you eliminate the requirement for the police officer … to come to court and actually justify their actions, we will inevitably see people wrongly convicted on trumped-up tickets. Yeah, I can see that. But I also like the idea of being able to plead to a reduced charge or penalty. Thats why people go to traffic court, right? What do you think?
