As summertime approaches we have many new members working at the plant who won’t know what to expect with the heat. As most of you that have been here any time at all know, it gets extremely hot during the summer in the plant. Take care of yourself and make sure to keep an eye on those around you during the summer months. Drink plenty of water and don’t wait for the company to hand out the one bottle that they provide when it reaches scorching temperatures. If you see someone getting sick from the heat call 1911 from any plant phone and get the ambulance there to treat them and get them help. If you start feeling ill from the heat do not wait until you collapse, go to medical or get somewhere cool and call for help.
