As tagged by Hiranyakr Deka here are the 10 best books I’ve read so far (though the list is somewhat longer, I’m compelled to select only 10 out of them)… 1. The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown 2. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (Haters gonna hate, but for me he is one of best thriller/mystery book writer with his extraordinary quality of narration) 3. How green was my valley by Richard Llewellyn ( read it thrice but still d book gives me an impression of fresh start each time I hold it ) 4. Great Expectation by Charles Dickens (one of d best classics) 5. The lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri (wanted to try out Indian writer and believe me it was just remarkable) 6. Famous Five series by Enid Blyton (my childhood favourite) 7. Akhimot Heral Jar Hima by Lt Bhubanmohan Baruah under d pen-name Kanchan Bauah (a book that needs no introduction in Assamese literature) 8. Miri Jiyori by (a good love story turned sad story in Assamese) 9. Swami and Friends by R.K Narayan (best nostalgic book for me) 10. The Sherlock Holmes novels by Arthur Conan Doyle (my all-time favourite detective novels) PS: I’ve never tried any inspirational book yet….
