As temperatures warm up, more and more people are headed outdoors. The Town wants to remind residents to be aware of solicitors scouring neighborhoods this summer. A solicitor is anyone trying to sell goods or services door-to-door. Town ordinance requires solicitors to apply for a Town license and to comply with the Town’s “No Knock” regulations. Regulations include the restriction of soliciting between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. and to avoid knocking on doors at addresses registered on the Town’s “No Knock” list, displaying a Town “No Knock” sticker or displaying a “No Soliciting” sign.
