As the Chair of the Barry Island Historical Group I want to say thank you to everyone who braved the weather and came along to the Barry Island Community Centre over the weekend to see this years Exhibition. I also wanted to say thank you to the Committee Members who worked extremely hard to put on a great display for the visiting members of the public and who helped over the weekend (Friday evening to Sunday evening) to ensure that the event went off without a hitch. A special thank you to Mr Gordon Young & Ms Mererid Velios for coming along to support this years Exhibition and to the Twinnies for their sterling work in the kitchen selling teas & coffees etc to help raise funds. So thank you everybody for your continued interest & support...and well be doing it all again next year !!!!! You have been warned (LOL)
