As the President’s Son, I was always out and about in the - TopicsExpress

As the President’s Son, I was always out and about in the Presidential Mansions. From the day in 1973 when I was permanently united with my father and started living life as the President’s Son, I never stopped marveling at the Presidential Mansions like any other village urchin would do. From the day we were ushered right through to the stone pillars into the Oak Laden Reception Area at State House Entebbe, following the September 1972 invasion by the Ugandan exiles, I became mesmerized by what was to become my life until dad was overthrown in 1979. After the 1972 invasion by the Ugandan exiles, dad had asked that several of my siblings and I be brought from Mbarara to the Former Colonial Mansion (State House Entebbe) then taken to his residence in Kololo, Kampala that he named Command Post. That day, I had immediately become aware of the Elephant Tusks at the entrance to State House Entebbe and never tired of admiring them throughout my life as the President’s Son.
