As the dust settles on another year, I want to thank all DeMolays who showed up to the 2014 Conclave. The amount of class shown this year was awesome to watch. I could see the true brotherhood between the different chapters from all of the sports and ritual competition results. I know all the chapters appreciated the additional applause when their names were called. I call all of you to go out and recruit two more members this year so we can have standing room only at the dinner and awards ceremony. Even better, lets put grow our current venue so we can find something bigger and better! I want to say thank you to everyone who showed your appreciation to Joey and the other state officers during the banquet for the amazing year they had. Each and everyone one of you are responsible for the success of the state officers. It doesnt matter how much one person, or even a chapter, pushes them to succeed, its everyones support and encouragement that makes their success. When you guys stood up and applauded them, that showed how much you approved of the job they did. If you did not make it out this year, start planning for next year now. Start recruiting, fund raising, and spreading the love of DeMolay you have to everyone you know. You never know when youre going to be someone elses light that builds their fire. Dad Will Perkins
